Items and Upgrade Components in World of Warcraft
Upgrades can increase the value of armor and weapons. However upgrading common equipment is not worth the cost as uncommon or exclusive equipment can quickly surpass it.
Upgrades can be made to an item up to six times. Each upgrade will increase the gauge of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are upgrade materials that can be used to increase the attributes of an item. Glyphs can be used to upgrade weapons or armor. They can also be used to improve a hat or ring or necklace or other accessory. Glyphs are available at various levels and are available from vendors located in the city of Deneb. They can be very costly, but are worth the investment since they can boost the stats of an item.
A Glyph is an encoded character that is a representation of the shape of a letter, numeral, or symbol. item upgrades has a particular appearance and is given an unique code that refers to it in a variety of fonts. Besides regular letters, glyphs can also include special characters like mathematical symbols or arrows. They may be used to represent symbols, icons or other types that are commonly used in a specific language. There are also ligatures that join two letters together, and swashes that are decorative symbols.
There are a variety of glyphs, and a font may include multiple variations of each. The default glyphs of Adobe Caslon(tm) Pro, for example, include all of the standard characters as well as ornaments, swashes, fractions and ligatures. The Glyphs panel lets you view these variations and insert them into your document.
Glyph metrics are the parameters that determine where the glyphs are placed when text layouts are created. They are determined by a combination of elements, including the advance width and side bearings. These measurements are important to ensure that the glyphs will appear correctly on the screen and be properly displayed in text.

Growthstones
When you upgrade an armor, weapon or accessory, you can use Growthstones to further increase the stats of the item. This is a lengthy process and there is a chance that the item won't be at its target level. For instance, a typical headpiece can be upgraded to level six, but not level nine. The maximum level of upgrade for an item is determined by its quality. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded to levels of 9, whereas Uncommon items can only be upgraded to level 6.

Weapons are generally the most expensive. You'll also need to be able to complete certain quests to obtain the items. If you want to upgrade armor, for example, you'll need one of three Power Dices that are dropped by monsters that are higher than level 21 as well as certain quantities of Erons and Minerals.
Recycled Items

Glass food and beverage containers are also acceptable, but they must be cleaned prior to being put into the recycling bin.
Batteries, plastic grocery bags and wire hangers are all items that should not be recycled. These items can ignite at recycling facilities and cause tangles to trucks and recycling equipment. Instead, you should bring them to the nearest recycling drop-off location.
Suffix
Suffixes are upgrades that can be used to enhance the quality of armor and weapons. They can be found in items which contain them or bought from a merchant with a Salvage Kit. Upgrades are color-coded to show the type of item they can be applied to. The merchant can sell the identified upgrades for gold. Weapons can be upgraded with up to two prefixes and one suffix. Upgrades can only be applied to items of blue or higher rarity, such as those dropped from end-chests in Factions and Nightfall campaigns. Items that have upgrade components cannot be used to craft new items.

Suffixes also serve to alter the grammatical rules for example, adding the suffix -ness to the word to make it an adjective or -ic for a noun to make it possessive.
In addition being used to add a new meaning to the word, suffixes can also be used in the names of people and places. A man who is single might have the surname "Paulauskaite", while the wife of a married woman would be able to use "Paulauskiene".

Item affixes are used to enhance armor and weapons with additional parameters that provide bonuses. These can be a combination between one or more suffixes or prefixes. For example -Fiery boosts atk power by adding fire elemental damage. Affixes for items can be applied to most items up to level 80 and are not applicable to hand-crafted ascended armour as well as trinkets that are crafted.
